Robert Griffin – Co-Founder

Bob Griffin is SUP’s Co-founder and has worn many hats as it relates to the organization. With his extensive legal background he has ensured that SUP meets CRA guidelines and procedures, while at the same time taking responsibility for banking, payroll, and corporate governance. Working in the justice system for over 40 years and having been witness to a myriad of injustices, has given Bob the tools to make a real difference in peoples’ lives. In addition to his legal training and experience, he has expanded his education outside of the legal community and is a graduate of multiple personal development programs – Context Associates, Transformational Arts program, the Option Institute, and the Trust and Joy Programs offered by Constellation Learning.

She was introduced to SUP when she applied for summer employment under the federal government’s summer jobs program and has stayed with the organization as a volunteer. As SUP’s social media director she brings her talent as a writer to not only create promotional materials, but contributes to SUP’s blog and to SUP’s social media sites. Prior to joining SUP Emily was engaged in multiple social causes including the 24 hour famine a All Saints CSS, a reading buddy for early elementary aged children and is a volunteer student note taker at Ryerson University. Whenever she is able to, Emily makes a positive difference in society.

Drew Taylor – Webmaster

Our resident web developer has a background in open data and Internet activism. Drew has worked as programmer and data engineer for a wide variety of projects of every scale, and always brings a unique blend of creativity and professionalism to his work. Other charitable contributions include projects with Open North and Ladies Learning Code. He’s super happy with the new website design and had a lot of fun composing with the bright colour scheme. An active contributor to SUP since the original website creation in 2013, he hopes to continue to be involved with SUP for many fabulous years to come.
